The Baltimore Inner Harbor

Updated: May 3, 2019
When visiting Annapolis, you should definitely visit Baltimore, Maryland. Depending on your interests, there are multiple places in Baltimore that may seem appealing to you. Regardless, the Inner Harbor has so much to provide, for all families, couples, and other parties to enjoy together. From personal experiences, the Inner Harbor is my favorite spot to visit when I travel to Baltimore.

The Baltimore Inner Harbor is home to many exciting places and events year round. The harbor has multiple areas of interest - anything from a trip to the aquarium or the museum with the whole family or a fancy candle-lit dinner at a five star restaurant over looking the water. Although most attractions cost money, there are many deals and packages that you can find through their website that I linked at the end of this post.

Personally, my favorite experience at the Baltimore Inner Harbor was an outdoor concert I attended there a few summers ago. One of the prettiest spots in the Inner Harbor, called Pier Six Pavilion, is know for having beautiful concerts right over the water. Most events take place at sundown in the summer, and the venue of the concerts has always been one of my favorites. I would definitely recommend going to a concert at Pier Six Pavilion if possible. It truly takes the experience to a new level. Although, the quality of this picture is pretty poor, this picture still manages to show how special the Inner Harbor is. Not only is the Harbor surrounded by water, but it is also surrounded by the beautiful skyscrapers that are a trademark of the city of Baltimore.
Don't forget: If you do plan on coming to Baltimore, make sure to check beforehand for places to park, as the city has limited parking in some areas.
