When summer comes around, I always find it ideal to spend as much time as I can outside. During the day, this dream is easy to fulfill, but I often find myself trying to find things to do around Annapolis that consist of more than just a bonfire on the beach after sunset. As a result, I found Bengies Drive-In Theatre in Middle River, Maryland, which is about a forty-five minute drive from Annapolis. I went to Bengies over this last summer in August - during one of the busiest time of the year for them. Surprisingly though, the theater workers were incredibly dedicated to making sure the entire process of buying tickets and parking cars for the movie was super friendly and efficient. time at the movie theater. They had a channel where customers could tune into the movie through their car radios if the sound wasn't loud enough from outside. I especially enjoyed their food; everything was very 60's themed and each dish we bought was pretty inexpensive and fresh. My favorites were their mozzarella sticks and the many different types of fries that they offered.

I definitely would love to come back and watch movies there again. Luckily, my experience with the movie was extra special, as I went with my boyfriend for our one year anniversary, and he was able to bring his convertible to watch it through. It was super awesome to watch the movie and feel like I was outside on a beautiful summer night at the same time. A lot of people there had the same idea, as many people were able to bring their convertibles or trucks, as they could then campout in the bed of their truck.

I also found it effective that depending on the time of the night, a different rated movie would play; meaning that the PG movies were played earlier in the night for children and families to enjoy and towards the later times of the night and early morning, the R rated movies would begin.

Throughout my whole experience at Bengies Drive-In Theatre, I was super impressed with their attention-to-detail and their attitude in helping out. I thought this establishment was a really great place to take anyone, whether it be your whole family, a friend or anyone else who many be interested.
