About This Blog: Annapolis, Maryland

Updated: Feb 27, 2019
Hi! Welcome to Annapolis on a Budget! Whether you are a student, parent, or anyone interested in saving money while traveling - this is a blog for you. As an Annapolis native, or "Annapolitan", I have learned all about the best places to visit without spending a lot, or if you're lucky, no money at all! This blog will give readers the ability to learn all about everything that makes Maryland's capital so special.
For the stir-crazy, this blog will also occasionally feature attractions outside of the city of Annapolis, including our nation's capital - Washington, DC - as well as Georgetown and Baltimore, Maryland. These cities provide so much for visitors, and are only a short thirty to forty-five minutes from Annapolis. Depending on what you call a vacation, these various destinations offer all types of activities for people of all ages and interests. I am especially involved and aware of upcoming events and activities for college and teenage students, as I myself am I college student.
The picture below is perhaps one of the most famous buildings in Annapolis, the Maryland State Capital Building. This building dating back to 1772 is a must see when visiting Downtown Annapolis!

Visit the State House at 100 State Cir, Annapolis, MD 21401.
