While there is an abundance of warm weather itinerary in Annapolis, Quiet Waters Park is open year round. Quiet Waters is a park located in Anne Arundel County, 10 minutes away from Downtown Annapolis. The park is 340 acres large and attracts around 700,000 visitors a year. The trails in the park are busy year round, but the area is most known for its beautiful ice rink during the cold winter season. During the summer, the rink is

transformed into an enormous pond and water fountain that attracts many visitors in the spring and summer. The park is surrounded by many different water features, including an intricate bridge that connects the park's pavilions. The trails are popular for dog walking, running, and more. The park is welcome to anyone, and parking is available for anyone in the many multiple parking lots. The Park has a dog park and a children's playground which is used in the summer by the general public, as well as the Quiet Waters Summer Camp.

For those interested in the ice skating rink, the rink opens up every year at the first of November. For a full day pass for parking a car or van, it is only six dollars. Since I was young, this rink has always been something like a tradition for families and teenagers. As a child, I went to Quiet Waters ice rink with my family and as I got older, I was able to meet my close friends at the ice rink.

Despite the season, Quiet Waters is such a beautiful place to visit. I would strongly recommend coming to this park if you are visiting in Maryland and need something fun to do outside. The park has so much to offer, and even if you do not have enough time, simply just driving around the circle of the park is mesmerizing to watch.
