Southern Breakfast at Iron Rooster

Everyone in Annapolis can agree, there is one restaurant in Downtown Annapolis that is better than all the rest. You don't even have to eat there to know it's true. By simply observing the outpour of people waiting outside on the curb for their reservation every Saturday and Sunday morning, you just know. This famous establishment is called Iron Rooster and specializes in the idea of "Breakfast All Day".
Iron Rooster is a relatively new restaurant to downtown Annapolis, but it is thriving because our town has never seen quite an establishment like it; The restaurant is a more sophisticated southern styled brunch. It is the perfect spot for any celebration, whether it is an anniversary, birthday or graduation. Most notable on their menu is their chicken
and waffles, as well as their most famous dessert: the pop tart pastry called the "house made roostart" which is made fresh daily and comes in various different flavors depending on the day.
If you are someone who enjoys a hearty, full breakfast filled with lots of exciting ideas, this restaurant is for you. There are also many options for all types of eaters, including vegan and vegetarian options. Their menu can be found online, and I will put the link to their website at the end of this post. From personal experience, I would strongly recommend calling ahead to check availability and/or possibly making a reservation. As I stated before, the restaurant is so popular that they are usually extremely busy on weekend mornings. Regardless, I can attest that their food is absolutely worth the wait.
