The Best Bagels in Annapolis

There are a lot of options for breakfast in Annapolis, but Naval Bagels is my personal favorite. Guaranteed, if you live in Annapolis, Naval Bagels is probably in your top personal favorites as well. If you are a cream cheese enthusiast, this local bagel shop will be your heaven on earth, as each of their bagels are smothered with homemade cream cheese.

Founded in 2000, Naval Bagels is a family-operated business that makes their bagels from scratch. Personally, find their bagels so delicious because of their unique technique: boiled in water and then baked. The bagels are made daily, and always taste warm and fresh. Naval Bagels offers 26 different flavored bagels and 12 different cream cheese flavors. On special occasions and holidays, the shop will sell colored bagels. Most famously, they sell bright green bagels for St. Patricks Day.

Among their most famous breakfast bagels are the Southerner - scrabbled egg, bacon, and any choice of cheese - and the Annapolitan - crab, scrambled egg, cheddar and Old Bay. If you are a non-bagel lover, Naval Bagels also sells other specialties including croissants, pretzels, and more.

Naval Bagels not only sells breakfast bagels, but eight lunch bagels as well. My personal favorite is their Avocado Delight: turkey, bacon, lettuce, tomato, avocado and honey mustard dressing. They also sell a Pizza Bagel (tastes just as yummy as it sounds) that is very delicious and highly recommended.
