Welcome back! Since we have already covered by favorite place to eat bagels, why not add a beautiful place to sit, eat and enjoy your breakfast?! One of my favorite places to go is the famously known Ego Alley. Whenever visiting Downtown Annapolis, you can not miss this cute little harbor. As an added bonus, it's totally free to visit at any time! Although it is called an "alley", Ego Alley is actually more like a pier overlooking Spa Creek. Ego Alley is surrounded by trendy restaurants, shops and museums. Despite the misleading name, the area is - without a doubt - a beautiful spot for people of all ages.

No matter what day and time you decide to visit Ego Alley, it is guaranteed that something interesting will be taking place. Visiting this spot is always a fun surprise. You may stumble upon musicians and singers, street artists, speakers and other types of free entertainment! For all my puppy lovers, local shelters sometimes showcase dogs up for adoption to pet and play with - not to mention the surplus of dog walkers and their dogs when local shelters are too busy to come down.

After spending time down in Ego Alley, you most definitely will not want to miss strolling up Main Street. Main Street is arguably the most popular street in all of Annapolis. Here, you will find some of the best restaurants, shops and other businesses. When visiting Main Street, I have a few must-see destinations to recommend to all my blog readers.

Hands down, the best ice cream shop in Annapolis is the Annapolis Ice Cream Company. Made entirely from scratch, Annapolis Ice Cream company has won many awards, including Trip Advisor's "Certificate of Excellence" for 4 years in a row and What's Up? Magazine's "Best of Annapolis" for 11 years in a row. Although they are most known for their fantastic ice cream, they also have another popular trademark. The entire store is decorated in hundreds of stuffed animal penguins and penguin decor - so much so that the store is commonly referred to as "The Penguin Place". The store rotates out 36 different flavors daily.

Not only is their ice cream reasonably priced, the serving sizes are HUGE!

(A little bonus...) If you aren't a big sweet tooth, then Joss Cafe & Sushi Bar is a good place for you. Joss is one of the most popular Japanese restaurants throughout Annapolis. They may not be as reasonably priced as my typical choices/places featured in this blog, but I personally believe that Joss is worth spending a little extra cash for.
